Descriptions

The packaging design for "The House on Sathorn Afternoon Tea" serves as more than just a container; it is a medium that conveys the "experience" and "history" of the iconic landmark in a tangible form.

Material and Construction Techniques :
The box is crafted from high-quality rigid paperboard, providing the structural integrity necessary to support the weight of the pastries and glass jam jars. The construction features a sophisticated mechanical pop-up mechanism. Designed in a hexagonal shape, the side panels unfold like a folding screen, revealing a three-tiered cantilevered tray system.

The use of premium green grosgrain ribbons for handles not only ensures portability and durability for takeaway use but also adds a tactile sense of luxury.

Embellishment and Branding :
The embellishments focus on recreating the architectural identity of the Neoclassical mansion. Detailed illustrations depict the signature green louvers and mustard-yellow walls of the heritage building.

Branding: The logo is featured prominently using gold foil stamping on the lid and interior panels, signaling a premium brand positioning.

Interior Detail: The inside of the lid is adorned with intricate patterns inspired by the mansion’s historical floor tiles or ceiling motifs, creating an immersive "unboxing" experience that feels like stepping into the venue itself.

Color Psychology :
The color palette is a deliberate blend of heritage and appetite appeal:

Mustard Yellow and Colonial Green: These are the signature colors of the actual building, evoking a sense of warmth, nostalgia, and historical prestige.

Deep Purple and Forest Green (Interior): Using dark, jewel-toned hues for the interior trays creates a sharp contrast that makes the vibrant colors of the desserts "pop," enhancing their visual appeal.

Red (The Roof/Lid): Red is known to stimulate excitement and appetite, while also serving as a bold focal point that makes the packaging stand out.

Design Concept :
The core concept is "A Piece of Heritage to Go." The design aims to transport the atmosphere of The House on Sathorn directly to the customer’s home. The hexagonal structure is a clever spatial solution; when fully opened, the package transforms from a simple box into a functional tiered tea stand.

This eliminates the need for additional plating, seamlessly blending functional takeaway utility with cultural storytelling. It turns a meal into a curated event.
