This mooncake packaging transcends its functional role as a container, emerging as a contemporary work of art that seamlessly blends the traditional spirit of the Mid-Autumn Festival with minimalist luxury.
Material and Construction Techniques :
The packaging features an elegant, rounded oval structure, symbolically echoing the themes of "reunion" and the "full moon." The outer shell appears robust, likely constructed from high-quality rigid paperboard (Greyboard) wrapped in premium textured paper that provides a tactile sensation akin to fine leather or smooth fabric.
The construction emphasizes seamless precision, particularly where the lid meets the inner base, creating a vacuum-like closure that enhances the premium "unboxing" experience for the recipient.
Embellishment and Branding :
The branding follows a "less is more" philosophy. The Alice Cafe logo, featuring the iconic rabbit, is applied using Gold Hot Stamping Foil, positioned dead-center on the lid for maximum impact. This metallic finish provides a sharp, luxurious contrast against the matte surface.
