The Peninsula Macaron Box

Client :

The Peninsula Bangkok Hotel

Descriptions :

The core concept of this packaging is "Cultural Heritage in Motion." It transforms a traditional confectionery box into a three-dimensional, interactive souvenir that pays homage to Thailand’s most iconic mode of transport: the Tuk-Tuk.

The "Drawer" Mechanism : Instead of a standard lid, the box opens from the rear—simulating the passenger area of a vehicle. It features a multi-tiered drawer system that slides out to reveal the macarons.

Space Optimization : The internal structure is divided into clean, white grids that hold 12 macarons (6 per level). This keeps the delicate treats secure while providing a "reveal" moment that feels like unloading cargo from a delivery van.
