The exterior is meticulously wrapped in premium, soft-pink leather, while the interior features a contrasting deep burgundy lining. This process requires a technique known as edge-turning, where the leather is skived (thinned at the edges) and folded over the frame to ensure a seamless, bubble-free finish.
The handles are a focal point of the engineering. They consist of gold-finished metal pylons that are securely anchored through the leather-wrapped base. The horizontal grip features a dual-material design, where a leather sleeve is perfectly fitted over a metal core, providing a tactile, ergonomic experience that balances the weight of the metal with the warmth of the leather.
The "PASQUALE BRUNI" wordmark on the front leather panel is achieved through hot foil stamping. This involves a custom-made metal die that is heated and pressed against the leather with a thin layer of gold metallic foil in between. The heat activates the adhesive on the foil, permanently embedding the brand name into the grain of the leather, resulting in a slightly recessed, shimmering finish.
